A E V U M
(n.) time, eternity, lifetime
Aevum University is the place where descendants ofย prince, princess, and villains alike gather to study about their destiny and happily ever after. At AU, you will learn more about the story you are fated for, how you are supposed to walk it, and accept it. If you choose to carve your own destiny, your story and your existence will cease to exist. At least that's what the heads said -but between you and me, I want to see what truly happens to the ones that take their story into their own hands.
Now I'm just babbling, let me give you a tour of the university before you settle in.
At Aevum University, you are one of the many fairytales that the world has. Deciding one to use for your character is an essential part of creating a student/character here. There are thousands upon thousands of fairytales - the world is your oyster!
However, for now, the Heads only accepts fairytales that are in Ever After High and which have a Disney Adaption. Mythology is not allowed, generally speaking. This includes Greek, Norse, Roman and etc.
If ever you are confused about if a tale is accepted at AU then please ask me! I rather you be careful and make a character from a fairytale that the Heads accept than wasting time over one that they don't.
Here are some rules you should abide by for as long as you are a student at Aevum University.
one. No discrimination or discriminatory content. This includes, (but not limited to) gender, race, sexuality, or religion.
two. Be kind, friendly, and otherwise accommodating. Treat people the way you would like to be treated.
three. Be inclusive. Do not ignore users and be selective on who you interact with.
four. Any sensitive and/or triggering content should include adequate warnings.
five. Do not godmod (control other people's characters), no metagamming (using information of the muse that you shouldn't even know) and do not keep your character needlessly overpowered (make your character untouchable).
six. Character's death is prohibited. You are only allowed to graduate, drop out or be lost somewhere.
seven. Not everyone has walked in your shoes, or do they eat from the same plate as yours. They do not know what you know, so it's better to educate rather than judge.
We implement a three-strikes policy.
one. You will be given a strike for every rule you break, this will be given after admin has contacted you to fully grasp the whole story.
two. Please co-operate and tell the whole story so that nobody will be misjudged.
three. On your third strike, you will be unverified and blacklisted from Aevum University.
four. You will no longer able to continue your studies ever.
When you break the rules;
one. Admin will contact you if you have broken any of the rules. You will be reached via direct message (DM).
two. Admin will inform you of the rules that you have broken, and whether this is a warning or a strike.
three. Be honest with the Admin about what has happened, this would help us get to the bottom of the issues faster.
four. Remember, Admins, are here to help you, not condemn you. We want to make your stay here as pleasant as possible.
When someone else breaks the rules;
one. If you feel that someone else is breaking a rule, avoid stepping in and instead, inform an Admin.
two. This is to avoid dogpiling and/or ganging up, which makes it harder for the Admin to handle the situation.
three. Never be afraid to flag point out something to an Admin. They are not all-knowing and don't see every single thing on the timeline. Admins are also not mind readers, tell them what your feelings are, or else they would not know.
four. Something does not need to be against the rules for you to alert and/or raise it as a concern to the Admins.
REMEMBER
Be mindful of your words as they can be knives without you knowing. Always be kind and thoughtful of others. Everyone is here to have fun, not to attack or feel attacked. Everything that IC says, are not the same or far from how the OOC feels. With that in mind, we hope you enjoy your stay here till happily ever after.
FAIRY TALES
This is the list of fairytales that we accept. You can be just anyone from the movies -but to be safe you can contact us first. In Ever After High, children of animals sometimes have a human form, that is why we are accepting some animal characters. Replicas in both Disney and EAH are listed under EAH, they might be different versions but the characters are accepted all the same. Taken characters are listed in our yearbook.

Gender and pronouns: Your character's gender and pronouns.
Sexuality: Your character's sexuality.
Social Status: Royalty, Commoner, Nobility, servants
Story: The story your character is destined to take part in.
Role: The role your character is destined to have within that story.
Alignment: Are they a royal or a rebel? Roybel perhaps? Or maybe they walk the neutral path?
Powerful Qualities: Three positive traits that make your character unique and interesting.
Secret Heart's Desire: Your character's motivation / want.
My "Magic" Touch: A stand out thing about your character that makes them unique. May be actual magic, may not be.
Romance Status: Your characters relationship status / feelings on relationships.
Oh "Curses!" Moment: A flaw or flaws your character possesses.
Character Guidelines
An in-depth explanation so you will understand it fully.
Name: It can be literal names, e.g. Kitty Cheshire, daughter of Cheshire Cat. Names from the story, e.g. Apple White, daughter of Snow White. Puns through sound, e.g. Humphrey Dumpty, son of Humpty Dumpty (sounds like Humpty). Fitting names, e.g. Crystal Winter, daughter of the Snow Queen (both Crystal and Winter are related to Snow).
You can go as abstract or as straight with your naming as you'd like, these are just to help you!
Birthdate/Age: 1st Years' minimum age is 18 years old. A character might get held back a year or two for reasonable reasons. There are 4 years altogether.
Role: The protagonist? The antagonist? Sidekick? How does your character feel about their destiny? Do they like their story? Would they change anything if they could? How do they feel about their specific role? Do they hate their story but love their role? Perhaps they love their story but hate their part in it? Maybe they think both are just as bad as the other; maybe they think both are awesome.
Alignment: Royals are characters that accept their destiny, Rebels are characters that want to make their own story, Roybels are in between, and Neutrals are characters that have no strong feelings about their alignment.
Are they honest about how they feel? Do they feel pressured to align a certain way? Is their alignment is based out of sympathy for others, or out of a sense of duty or justice? Do they care at all? Perhaps they lack sympathy for others? Your character may not feel informed enough to make a choice or may want to throw their cents into the debate without knowing what they're talking about.
Powerful Qualities: This is how your character acts most of the time, you can take any personality test, Hogwarts house test, or use your star sign as a guide.
Secret Heart's Desire: What motivates them? Why do they want that, and why does that motivate them? Will they fight at any cost for their wants, or do they think that their wants come second to serving destiny? Do they aspire to do something huge, like save the world? Or do they just want to make it to lunch break without getting picked on?
My "Magic" Touch: A stand out thing about your character that makes them unique. May be actual magic, may not be. Not all characters have magic, your gift must be inherited from your fairytale's parent. For characters that are originally animals, it is known that you have two forms; animal and human.
Heads of Aevum University
Mr. Grimm
portrayed by Lee Dong Wook
Mr. Grimm is a centuries-old being who's traveled many places before he founded Aevum University. He has been around since the very first generation of fairytale stories -and is dead set in making sure everyone follows their destinies.
FAIRY GOD-MOTHER
Fairy God-Mother is the same fairy from Cinderella's story. She is in charge of the well-being of the students at Aevum University. Although not picking any sides, she does prefer the royals more -as rebels are too troublesome for her.
